I am a senior legal counsel and have worked as a legal professional and legal manager at various organisations (both profit and non-profit).

I lead the legal team at Luris. In addition, I assess and draft agreements for academic and commercial collaborations and deal with technology transfer, knowledge valorisation, IP rights, subsidies, and state aid rules. In this context, I work with (international) academic institutions, commercial parties, and the government. I act as a legal sparring partner for the faculties and institutes of Leiden University. I provide legal advice on the set-up of spin-offs. I am a member of the Knowledge Security Advisory Centre of Leiden University. My working approach is pragmatic and solution-oriented, considering the context and the various interests at stake within the organisation.
