Citizen Science Lab Community Manager

Anouk Spelt is a community manager with a strong focus on connecting people and fostering collaboration across diverse groups and organizations. She is part of the Citizen Science Lab based at LURIS. Within the lab, she is currently responsible for two projects: (1) Citizen Science Nederland (CS-NL) and (2) European Citizen Science (ECS) project. CS-NL is the national network for everyone involved in Citizen Science. In my role as community manager, she brings CS practitioners from different backgrounds across the Netherlands together in activities to exchange knowledge and know-how and strengthen participatory research practices across all domains. The ECS project aims to widen and strengthen the European Citizen Science community through capacity building and awareness raising activities. As representative of the Dutch national network, she participates in several work packages related to strengthening links and collaboration between networks, developing the ECS academy, boosting inclusion and diversity, advocating for citizen science in policy and investigating impact of citizen science on research, society and economy.
