Giuseppe Visimberga

Giuseppe Visimberga makes his insights available in industrial, technological, and commercial matters to support the earliest steps of new businesses spun off by Leiden University. At the other end of the process, he scouts valuable results of Leiden University’s research groups and ensures that they are suitably protected to enable an effective transfer to society; he also negotiates IPR licensing to commercial companies. Additionally, he supports his colleagues in arranging for IP ownership/access rights in R&D partnerships. Giuseppe is a Registered Technology Transfer Professional (RTTP) and holds a PhD in Physics, having worked himself as a scientific researcher.
