Service offered:
scanning electron microscopy imaging
Market sectors: Research, Drug Discovery and Development
The electron microscopy Facility at the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), offers scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imaging for the analysis of surfaces and particles.
Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) provides imaging for detailed surface and particle analysis of materials at the micro and nanoscale, enabling to gain deep insights into the structure, composition, and properties of their samples. This technique supports a wide range of applications, from manufacturing (drug delivery vesicles) and material science (crystals, alloys, polymers) to biology (pollen, bacteria, organoids, tissues, insects) and environmental research (nano-plastics), helping innovation, improve quality, and data-driven decisions.
We are offering a service to academic and industrial researchers who may have an interest in visual analysis of surfaces and particles.
